DESCRIPTION:Booth Weekend\, held each May\, officially kicks off the summer season at the D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery & Archives! The Pond Gift Shop\, the Von Bayer Museum\, the Railcar\, and the Booth House will be open through the end of September. Guided tours through the historic buildings are available during the summer season daily from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.\n\nWe will be celebrating by handing out free hot dogs and drinks. And\, complete a hatchery scavenger hunt to earn free fish food! Plus\, everyone can can spin the wheel for a chance to win free hatchery swag! The festivities will be from 10:30am to 2pm.\n\nStop by to take a tour\, browse the museum\, hike the trails and feed the trout and ducks. Our new volunteers will be anxious for visitors! During the summer our venues are staffed by traveling RV volunteers who come from all over the United States to work at D.C. Booth from May-September. Our volunteers are essential to the hatchery operations and we cannot begin to thank them enough!
